proRANT.com offers consumers a convenient way to express their desires and opinions regarding services, products and anything worth ranting about (e.g. urban planning, restaurants, events). All the topics (whether they are product, service, location or event pages) are crowdsourced, but professionally moderated.
The first part of proRANT's name stems from Latin preposition pro (in favor of/for). The second part, on the other hand, comes from English noun rant (a bombastic extravagant speech). Accordingly, proRANT encourages everyone to speak of their positive and negative experiences so that others can learn from them. proRANT's mission is also to help companies and organizations improve upon the received feedback.
Dota 2 is an upcoming action fantasy strategy video game being developed by Valve Corporation and the stand-alone sequel to the popular Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne mod Defense of the Ancients.
Formally announced on October 13, 2010 via the website of magazine Game Informer, the game is currently undergoing a closed beta phase and is scheduled for a full release in 2012. Although the game's business model has yet to be finalized, Dota 2 will be released via download by Valve's content delivery platform Steam, on which the game has been developed to run exclusively for both game launch and update delivery.
Dota 2 will operate on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.
